Owner and Broker of Riddell Realty since 1989, Joe Riddell is a native of Kentucky, born and raised on a dairy and "dirt" farm outside of Lexington.
Real World Experience
Active in all aspects of the thoroughbred industry since 1971, Joe has been an owner, breeder, trainer, farm manager, and farm developer. His knowledge on what it takes to "raise a good horse" make him uniquely qualified to evaluate what it takes to assemble the components for a successful horse operation from the ground up. Results Oriented
Joe has coordinated the purchase of over 21,000 acres of Central Kentucky farm land mainly as a Buyer's agent. An astounding 16,000 acres of that land was not listed for sale. Identifying that one-of-a-kind property that meets your specific needs and approaching landowners to make the sale is a very special skill set.
The Horse Capital of the World
Having extensively studied the history of the thoroughbred industry in Central Kentucky, as well as a practical working knowledge of the geology and hydrology of the Bluegrass Region, Joe has gained a comprehensive understanding of the reasons why this area is considered the "Horse Capital of the World."
Mike is a third generation builder. He graduated from UK in the class 1977 with a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration. After graduating Mike joined the Air Force and climbed the ranks to become a decorated Fighter Pilot flying the F-4 Phantom.
Now retired from the military, Mike and his wife Lea, together, have six children and continue to live and work in Lexington. He holds a Kentucky Real Estate Brokers License and is active in both the Home Builders Association of Lexington and The Lexington Board of Realtors.
Mike has been full time with the family Building and Realty business since 1984 and has over 30 years of construction experience. Today, Mike oversees the day to day operations of the office, bidding, sales, and contract administration. In his free time, Mike enjoys flying, church, and his spending time with friends and family.
