Owner and Broker of Riddell Realty since 1989, Joe Riddell is a native of Kentucky, born and raised on a dairy and "dirt" farm outside of Lexington.

Active in all aspects of the thoroughbred industry since 1971, Joe has been an owner, breeder, trainer, farm manager, and farm developer. His knowledge on what it takes to "raise a good horse" make him uniquely qualified to evaluate what it takes to assemble the components for a successful horse operation from the ground up. Joe has coordinated the purchase of over 21,000 acres of Central Kentucky farm land mainly as a Buyer's agent. An astounding 16,000 acres of that land was not listed for sale. Having extensively studied the history of the thoroughbred industry in Central Kentucky, as well as a practical working knowledge of the geology and hydrology of the Bluegrass Region, Joe has gained a comprehensive understanding of the reasons why this area is considered the "Horse Capital of the World."
